Looking for an easy and cute lunch idea for St. Patrick's Day. Using frozen tortellini, jarred pesto, and a broccoli stem you can make these fun edible shamrocks. I had a tri-color package so used both the green and white ones. You can use a variety of veggies for the stem - broccoli, green bean, celery.

I love your ideas and recipes! I only wish I got them the day before the holiday and not the morning after. If you would consider sending them out in advance, I'd be so very grateful!
ReplyDeleteThank you - so glad you enjoy the site and recipes. The contributors do try if possible to post ahead of feast day, but that isn't always possible, especially if we are also making it on the feast day. This St. Patrick's recipe was posted the evening before (March 16). Not sure why you saw it day after. We will continue to try to post early to best meet visitors' needs. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteAdding to Mary's response (thank you, Mary!) I'm guessing perhaps you have an Email Subscription to the blog? I'm not sure how FeedBurner decides when to send new blog posts, but it seems that they are sent at the end of the day and, if a post is added late at night, it isn't sent out to the email subscribers until the next evening, which would explain why you woke up to it this morning. I haven't been able to figure out a way to have them sent immediately, but I will look into that again and see if I can find a better option. God bless!
